Independent Infrastructure Impact Investing Partners (4IP) Group Sàrl is a premier Alternative Investment and Financial Advisory Boutique established in March 2017. Based in Geneva, Switzerland, 4IP works with both private and public sector clients globally, with a focus on emerging and frontier markets, particularly in Africa. Specializing in advisory, research, incubation/acceleration, and promoting sustainability thought leadership, 4IP supports a variety of clients including VC/private equity firms, SMEs/SGBs, ESOs (Accelerators) and government bodies (e.g. via framework contractors).
4IP’s mission is to enhance Impact Investing globally through robust client relationships (deal sourcing, investment matchmaking, capital raising, training, coaching, mentoring) and policy engagement (consultancy conducted on behalf of Development Partners and DFIs/MDBs).
Role Description
This is a part-time hybrid role for an Investment Assistant located in Geneva (or on-line), with some work-from-home options available. The Investment Assistant will support the team in managing investment projects, conducting financial analysis, preparing reports, and liaising with clients. Additional responsibilities include assisting with market research, maintaining databases, and aiding in the creation of presentations for clients (investors and company owners).
On this background, we are looking for 1 Impact Investment Assistant who can help 4IP Group:
❖ Sourcing of investment ready (impact/social) enterprises in our target countries (in Africa: Zambia, Tanzania, Mauritius, Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Uganda, South Africa, Egypt and DRC and in Europe: Switzerland and Denmark) as well as
❖ Fundraising (investment-matchmaking/capital raising) activities based on our Impact Investor database (forthcoming Private Placement Platform) consisting of impact investors from the OECD countries (esp. Switzerland and Denmark), SoutheastAsia (Singapore & Hong Kong) as well as leading VC hubs on the African continent including but not limited to Asset Managers (family offices),1Institutional Investors and High-Net-worth Individuals & Family Offices, with the principal objective
- to help of early-stage enterprise clients raise capital
- by first offering 4IP ESG Toolkit (including UNDP-SVI’s SDG Impact Standards) to the early-stage enterprise as a prerequisite for
- the subsequent capital raising activities.
❖ Fundraising for a small number of African based Venture Capital Funds (with signed finders’ agreements), including Darena Ventures in Zimbabwe (where 4IP’s MP is in Advisory Board)

❖ Fundraising for the Spring Rain Global (SRG)’s new Impact Fund registered in Singapore ❖ Fundraising for a small number of large-scale projects (with signed finders’ agreements). ❖ Fundraising for a selected number of projects sourced through 4IP’s membership of Local Community Prosperity Alliance (LCPA);2
❖ Preparing the ground for launching the process of setting up an Impact Tech Venture Capital Fund in H2 2025.
❖ Exploring the possibility of setting up a COOP Bank in DRC to issue private lending to early-stage companies too big for MFIs services and too small for Commercial Bank corporate lending services.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in Investments and Investment Management
- Experience in Finance and Financial Services
- Excellent Communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field • Proficiency in using financial software and tools
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Prior experience in impact investing or infrastructure financing is a plus.
