3rd Coppet Freedom of Speech Debate on a Greenwashing Motion

The series has re-launched a new version of the Coppet Meetings, which pay tribute to the Coppet Group [see Annex 4]. This think tank (which Stendhal would later name “the Summit of European Opinion”) was created under the impetus of Mme Germaine de Staël to debate philosophical and political questions of the late 18th and early 19th centuries. In other words, last year we celebrated 220 years of Free Speech in Coppet, hence our event is a mixture of The Munk Debates & Oxford Union style debates, where 8 leaders, thinkers and influencers of International Geneva & Canton de Vaud Ecosystem will debate the motion: “This House Believes That Greenwashing Does More Harm Than Good.”

The Debate will be moderated by Christian Kingombe, Co-founder and Managing Partner of 4IP Group Sàrl and SIIA Board Member as well as member of the Swiss National Advisory Board for Impact Investing Taskforce.

Check-in will begin at around 18:05.

Coffee will be provided before and after the Debate by Outsiders Coffee Roasters
The organizers look forward to welcoming you to our event in historical Coppet.
