COMPANY OWNERS & ASSET MANAGERS IN  
AFRICA, ASIA AND SWITZERLAND

4IP GROUP, an advisory company established under the laws of Switzerland and whose  registered office is located in Founex, Terre-Sainte, Switzerland (“4IP“). 

  1. 4IP is an independent infrastructure and impact investing partner Group established to  promote impact investing in emerging markets and actively focuses on impact investing both on public side advisory (policy and framework, project preparation, transaction  advisory) and private side advisory (support to deal negotiations etc.). 4IP Group  provides a motivated and flexible working environment (incl. teleworking).  
  2. 4IP-SIIA Investor Circle (Impact Lions’ Den) with wealthy individuals (HNWIs),  foundations and Impact Investors interested in investing in impact in Emerging  Markets. 4IP-SIIA supports them with expert advice on impact investment topics and  showcases investment opportunities. 
  3. The Junior Associate (intern) being willing to support 4IP objectives in Switzerland, Denmark and Africa (that is e.g. in “Zambia, Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Ghana, Nigeria,  Cameroun, DRC and South Africa etc.”) with regards to impact investment and ESG Toolkit. The intern will continue the on-going updating of our databases covering:  Impact Investors (different categories) and Impact/Social Enterprises (with whom we  have signed Financial Services Agreements) and lending support to our effort to provide  of ESG Toolkit services, including our accredited SDG Impact Standards Training to  these same fund managers and enterprises.1
  4. Implementation of our new partnerships with Spring Rain Global (Singapore &  The Philippines) & Ethic Minds Institute (Switzerland); as well as our membership of the  Local Community and Prosperity Alliance (LCPA);2 Global Rethinking Finance  Collaborative (GRFC), Catholic Impact Investing Collaborative (CIIC)3 and Faith-Driven  Entrepreneurs/Investor (FDE-FDI),4 and Faith Entrepreneurs5 and Swiss Impact  Investing Association (SIIA).6

SCOPE AND DURATION 

1.1 The Parties will work together in carrying out the Activities for min 2 months – max 4 months commencing from the date of execution of the Internship Agreement.  

1.2 The scope and duration of the Activities under this agreement may be amended (including any amendments to this agreement) and/or extended through the mutual  agreement of both Parties. 


ROLES AND OBLIGATIONS OF THE PARTIES 

1.3 4IP Group will serve as the lead member of the collaboration between the Parties. In this  capacity, 4IP Group will provide regular technical and commercial support to the Junior  Associate as needed;

1.4 The Junior Associate (intern) will:  

1.4.1 identify the contact details (address, e-mail, phone number, website, and name  of Chief Investment Officer) of Swiss-Based Pension Funds that 4IP can  exploit in furtherance of its Impact Investing and ESG Toolkit Activities; 

1.4.2 identify the contact details (address, e-mail, phone number, website, and name  of Chief Investment Officer) of Swiss/Geneva-based Asset Managers (i.e.  impact investors & Family Office) that 4IP can introduce to the Impact  Lions’ Den using Sustainable Finance Geneva (SFG) database and our own  impact investor database; 

1.4.3 identify the contact details (address, e-mail, phone number, website, and name  of Chief Investment Officer) of Geneva-Based Foundations that 4IP can  introduce to the Impact Lions’ Den and our SRG partnership fundraising  purposes (i.e.t setting up a capacity building fund and a faith-based fund  investing in faith-driven companies and projects). 

1.4.4 write down talking points on existing or non-existing impact  investing / ESG capacities (max 1-2 paragraphs) for the above mentioned  organizations within each of these four categories which 4IP can use when  calling the Chief Investment Officers of the relevant small-to medium-sized  Pension Funds to market our ESG services; 

1.4.5 assist in fine-tuning 4IP’s existing ESG Tool kit for Pension Funds adapted to the regulation in Switzerland, Denmark, Africa and Asia

1.4.6 assist in the construction and implementation of the analytical ESG  Investment toolkit that help further the understanding of the relationship  between ESG factors and financial performance data of Pension Funds;  Foundations, Foundations, Endowments and Family Offices; 

1.4.7 ensure that our impact lions (impact investors & deal intermediaries) commit themselves to participate in our Impact Lions’ Den (target 3- 5  investors per event). 

1.4.8 Ensure that the +50 Economic Support Organizations (ESOs) (i.e.  accelerators) sign their financial services agreements – aimed at supplying  us with investment ready companies for our e-pitching events (Impact Lions’  Den). 

1.4.9 Help us organize our new podcast series – Invisible Heart podcast – where we will interview Swiss-based Impact Fund managers investing in the Global South in collaboration with our partners in India who will do the  same with Impact Fund managers based in India. 

1.4.10 contribute to the preparation of and execution of the 4IP-SIIA-GIIA Coppet  Freedom of Speech Debate series

1.4.11 complete ad-hoc assignments (e.g. impact investing  consultancy/advisory for private or public clients) to support the  growing operations of 4IP. 

1.4.12 report to 4IP as needed and in particular through weekly team meetings and  monthly in-writing reporting; 


2. FEES AND COSTS 

2.1 The Junior Associate shall be reimbursed costs on a monthly basis for operational  costs covering telephone, printing and mailing, however NO monthly allowance shall  be provided.  

Any additional expenses should be agreed in advance and in writing with 4IP. 

2.2 The Junior Associate shall NOT be entitled to a share of the fees received by 4IP.
