Last week, Christian Kingombe, Managing Partner at 4IP Group and member of the UNECE Technical Panel on Public-Private Partnerships, participated in the 8th Session of the UNECE Working Party on PPPs in Geneva.
The session highlighted innovation-enhancing procurement (IEP) as a tool to strengthen PPP frameworks, promoting transformative innovation and sustainable practices.
Another highlight was the endorsement of four policy guides by the Working Party on digital transformation, digital infrastructure, green and sustainable PPP procurement, and infrastructure finance.
Additionally, two new workstreams were launched, focusing on the integration of AI into PPPs and enhancing fiscal sustainability and affordability to advance the SDGs.
